Camp Randall Stadium figures to be rocking when the Purdue football team visits Wisconsin for the Badgers' Homecoming game on Oct. 22.
ABC recognized as much and has announced that it will televise the game beginning at 2:30 p.m. CDT/EST.
Four game times now have been established for the 2005 season:
Oct. 1 - NOTRE DAME, 6 or 6:45 p.m. (ESPN or ESPN2)
Oct. 8 - IOWA, 3:30 p.m. (ESPN)
Oct. 15 - NORTHWESTERN (Homecoming), Noon (TBA)
Oct. 22 - at Wisconsin, 2:30 p.m. (ABC)
The Boilermakers and Badgers have had some memorable games at Camp Randall Stadium under head coach Joe Tiller . To wit:
1998 -/ Drew Brees attempts an NCAA record 83 passes - completing a record-tying 55 of them - but 10th-ranked Wisconsin wins 31-24
2000 -/ Craig Terrill blocks a field goal and Ashante Woodyard returns it 36 yards for a touchdown to give Purdue a 30-24 overtime victory
2003 -/ Ben Jones kicks an 18-yard field goal with three seconds left for a 26-23 Boilermaker win
